It has been reported that there has been a second serious accident involving a boating mishap in the Wilmington River in Savannah.
The number of fatalities that resulted from a boating accident that occurred on a river in Georgia has increased to five after the remains of three people who were missing following the accident have been located, increasing the total number of fatalities that resulted from the event to five.
The authorities have reported that the bodies of two people were found on the Wilmington River close to Savannah shortly after the tragedy that occurred on Saturday. This discovery took place shortly after the accident occurred. According to Sgt. Cindy Miller of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the bodies of the three boaters who were still missing were found early on Sunday morning. These boaters had been reported missing on Saturday. The officials asserted that they were discovered in water that was around 14 feet (4.3 meters) deep and that they were located very near to one another when they were discovered.
