Following the theft of a police cruiser that belonged to the White Mountain Apache, the culprits were given chased at a high rate of speed.
A suspect was killed after getting into a confrontation with an officer of the law in Arizona, which resulted in the officer being “fatally shot.” The suspect then stole the officer’s car and led police on a high-speed chase through the state of Arizona, where he was ultimately apprehended and killed.
According to the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office, the event took place on Thursday evening in Whiteriver, which is located to the east of Phoenix. The incident occurred after a White Mountain Apache Police Officer had pulled over a car in that area of Whiteriver.
A confrontation took place between the officer and the individual operating the vehicle, as stated in a statement that was issued by the sheriff’s office. During the fight, the officer was assassinated by being shot in the head with a gun.
The police have stated that the suspect “grabbed the officer’s police vehicle and fled the area with White Mountain Apache Police Officers following in pursuit.” This is according to the charges that have been made by the police.
