Residents of the city in Louisiana do not now have access to electricity as a direct effect of the flooding that happened in the state.
As a result of the storms that passed through New Orleans on Friday, many homes and businesses were left without electricity, and many vehicles were left flooded after being completely submerged in water.
Several parking spaces and underpasses in the city of Louisiana, in addition to a public bus, were shown to be fully submerged in water in images that were made available by the fire department.
According to a tweet that was sent out by New Orleans Emergency Medical Services, the group was currently responding to many complaints of automobiles that had become stranded in the floodwaters. The remark was made after the agency received a large number of reports that vehicles were unable to move.
Even though some areas of New Orleans were beginning to dry out, residents were strongly cautioned by the city’s Department of Public Safety not to drive their automobiles through any standing floodwater. This advice was given even though certain areas of New Orleans were beginning to dry out.
