Lamarion Sharod Banks was under the supervision of active probation at the time of his arrest for the murder of Rafael Thomas.
According to sources within the local police enforcement in Georgia, over the weekend, a paroled offender allegedly shot and killed his neighbor following an argument between the two of them.
Lamarion Sharod Banks, 35, was on active probation at the time of his arrest on suspicion of murdering Rafael Thomas, 46, in Griffin, Georgia, which is a suburb of Atlanta. Banks was arrested on the suspicion of killing Thomas. Thomas was found dead.

At around 7 p.m., officers from the Griffin Police Department responded to calls that a person had been shot in the 100 block of West Tinsley Street. The statement released by the Griffin Police Department can be seen here. They found that Thomas had been shot in the upper body there, and although he had been carried by ambulance to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries and died there.
