Gonzalo Lopez, who had been on the run since the murder of a family of five, was linked to the crime, according to the authorities, who announced on Thursday.
The Leon County Sheriff’s Office reports that an escaped killer is suspected of being responsible for the murders that took place this week in Centerville, Texas, involving a family of five people. The victims were members of the same family that were killed earlier this week.
The convicted murderer Gozalo Lopez managed to break out of jail one month ago, which caused the authorities to launch a manhunt that lasted for a total of three weeks in the region where the crimes had taken place.
According to the accounts, he was shot to death by law enforcement personnel during a gun struggle.

In response to a phone call from a member of the family, police officers were dispatched to the household to check on the welfare of the occupants, where they discovered the bodies of two adults and three children who had been killed inside the home.

There is a possibility that Lopez also removed the white 1999 Chevrolet Silverado from the residence before the gunfight.
