According to court records that local reporters just got, a Houston man drugged a lady and locked her in his garage for over five years, preventing her from leaving.

According to Harris County court records acquired by FOX 26 Houston, Lee Carter, 52, is accused of aggravated abduction after he reportedly approached the lady when she was pregnant and panhandling in Almeda Genoa, giving her a $1 roughly five years ago.

The woman accepted Carter’s offer of assistance, and he took her to his house in southeast Houston, on the 5200 block of Perry Street.

The victim “begged to leave,” according to a charge document, but Carter gave her crack cocaine, making her “physically unable” to leave his garage, according to FOX 26.
