A brawl broke out in the building that houses the state Senate, and Michelle Ugenti-Rita, a state senator from Phoenix, alerted the authorities to the situation.

After a pro-choice demonstration took place outside the building, the members of the Arizona State Senate were forced to seek refuge in the basement to defend themselves. As a result of this, a state lawmaker called for an investigation to be conducted into the occurrence.

Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita of Arizona, who appeared alongside the reporters to discuss the horrible event, referred to the attempted rebellion as an “insurrection” in her remarks to the media.
