During a high school graduation ceremony that took place on Wednesday evening at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a shooting took place, which resulted in the deaths resulting in the fatality of one individual and the severe wounding of another. The suspect is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to Sergeant Dan Goodwin of the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.
As officials continue their hunt for the perpetrator of the shooting, local media report that they have detected a helicopter flying low over the area where shots were fired.
According to Sergeant Goodwin, the shooting was heard early in the morning near Middle Tennessee State University’s tennis courts, which are located in the athletic building. He asserted that shots were fired as those leaving the Murphy Center for the high school graduation ceremony where he had spoken were leaving the building. As a direct consequence of this tragedy, there was only one person who lost their life. According to reports, a second person who was shot was gravely hurt in the incident.
