Brisbane Stabbing: Three men in critical condition after suburban brawl

Three men are fighting for life in hospital after two were allegedly stabbed with an unknown weapon and another allegedly bashed with a hammer and glass bottles in a Brisbane suburban brawl overnight.

Emergency services were called to two homes on Lytton Road in Hemmant in Brisbane’s east just before 3am on Saturday and found four injured men.

Paramedics took two men to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition, with one suffering shoulder injuries and the other abdominal injuries.

Police said these two men were believed to have suffered stab wounds.

A third man was taken to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in a critical condition and police said this patient had been hit on the head with a hammer.

A fourth male victim was taken to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with abdominal injuries.

Police said at least two male attackers were involved but they all fled before authorities arrived.

Investigators believe one of the attackers was injured during the melee.

A section of Lytton Road has been cordoned off as a crime scene on Saturday.
