According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, the victim is currently in critical condition at the hospital where they were taken.
According to a statement released by the Missouri authorities, a woman who had been held captive for two days and subjected to severe physical abuse and psychological torment managed to break free from her abductor on Saturday.
