In Florida, a sheriff’s deputy arrested his daughter on drug charges as his department continues its campaign against addictive narcotics.

Kristen Kent, the daughter of Franklin County Sheriff A.J. Smith, was detained on suspicion of meth trafficking two days earlier, according to a statement released on April 19 by the sheriff’s office.
In a statement posted on the office’s Facebook page, Smith stated, “Methamphetamine does not discriminate [and] neither do we.” “It doesn’t matter who you are – no one is immune or free from being affected by this.”
