A shooting in downtown Philadelphia claimed the lives of three people: 22-year-old Kristopher Minners, 34-year-old Gregory Jackson, and 27-year-old Alexis Quinn.
Three of the victims who were slain in the shooting that took place on Saturday night in Philadelphia have had their remains identified by the local authorities.
Kristopher Minners, who was 22 years old and worked as a resident adviser at Girard College in Philadelphia, was one of the victims who passed as a result of the tragedy. The individual’s identification was reportedly verified by the Philadelphia-Pennsylvania American Federation of Teachers, as reported by The News God.
During the time that Minners was employed at Girard College, the Girard College Federation of Teachers referred to her as a “mentor and role model.”
After learning of Kristopher Minners’ death as a result of the shooting that took place in Philadelphia on Saturday night, James D. Turner, the interim president of Girard College, made the following statement: “The Girard College community was stunned and heartbroken.” “Kris, a bystander who was entirely oblivious to what was taking place, had just completed enjoying his 22nd birthday with his family and friends when the incident occurred. In the capacity of a counselor for sixth- and second-grade boys participating in the residential program, he has been providing his services to the institution since January 2022. His academic career began at Girard College, where he remained enrolled up through the ninth grade. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kristopher, his family, and everyone else whose lives have been negatively impacted as a result of this senseless act of violence. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.”
