The popularity of vapes and e-cigarettes has skyrocketed in recent years. In 2011, less than 10 million people smoked these vapor-centric products. As of 2018, that number had reached more than 40 million.
So, there’s a good chance that you are one of the many millions of people who vape. You don’t just want to smoke from your e-cigarette, though — you want to learn to do tricks with each exhale.
Lucky for you, there are plenty of vape tricks for beginnings that you can master quickly. Here are four of our favorites.
1. Ghosting
If you want to ghost your vape hit, you’ll need powerful lungs. Otherwise, this is one of the most simple vaping tricks out there.
All you’ll do is take a hit of your vape, but rather than inhaling, hold the smoke in your mouth for a few seconds. Then, open your mouth to release the cloud, but don’t get too comfortable.
As soon as you release the vapor, you’ll inhale strongly and rapidly. The cloud will disappear back into your mouth, thus making it a ghost hit.
2. Waterfall
Once you’ve mastered the art of hitting the vape and holding the vapor in your mouth, give the waterfall a chance. But rather than exhaling the smoke, you’ll open your jaw and press your chin forward, releasing the cloud so that it rises toward the nose.
You’ll then inhale the vapor through your nostrils. Why is this trick called the waterfall, then? It’s because the smoke rising into your nostrils looks a bit like an upside-down waterfall.
3. Dragon
The dragon works much like the waterfall and the ghost. You’ll need these products to get yourself started, of course. And you’ll need to take as big a hit of your vape as possible, holding the vapor in your mouth.
Then, you’ll exhale, but you’ll only open the corners of your mouth to release smoke. At the same time, you’ll breathe out through your nose, pushing vape through there, too.
In tandem, pushing smoke through these four openings will make you look like a dragon. Give it a try, perhaps in front of a mirror — that way, you can see just how reptilian you look with this trick.
4. Tornado
Rounding out our list of easy vaping tricks is the tornado. Unlike the other three, you can’t quite do this one on the go. You’ll need to stand next to a flat-top table and bend down so your mouth is parallel with its surface.
Once you’re down there — and you’re holding a mouthful of vapor — you’ll slowly exhale it over the table. The more contained and dense your cloud is, the better.
From there, you’ll extend your arm out and put your hand in the middle of the cloud. Then, you’ll pull it up into the air. Some have described the motion as a reverse chop.
This motion should transform the cloud over your table into a cyclone. If you need some help, grab an empty toilet paper roll and use that to concentrate and direct your vapor.
