An altercation that occurred during a sale on Facebook Marketplace resulted in an Oklahoma woman being pulled over by a car.
According to the court documents, the woman, who worked at Cardinal Glass in Durant, Oklahoma, had arranged to meet a man in Norman, Oklahoma, with the intention of exchanging electronic equipment acquired via Facebook Marketplace.
The trade was going to take place in the parking lot of the establishment after normal business hours.
The woman had intended to trade in her Nintendo Switch for a laptop, but when the gentleman came, she noticed that it was different from the one she had seen online and decided to phone the police instead.
After being confronted about the difference, according to the woman’s account, the man placed both items in the back of his pickup truck.
The woman made an attempt to retrieve her phone by reaching inside the moving vehicle. After that, he shifted it into reverse and began dragging her down the ground.
An arrest warrant has been obtained for the person who is responsible for this incident, and he has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
