Tragic events occurred in Louisiana on Tuesday night after a potential tornado tore through the community of Keithville, killing two people, including a little kid, and sending emergency personnel looking for the boy’s 30-year-old mother.
Deputies arrived at Lareta Street in Pecan Farms after hearing claims of a tornado, according to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office. The organization reported that numerous nearby structures had suffered damage, and electrical wires and trees had also been felled.
An 8-year-old boy was discovered dead in a forested area in Pecan Farms, where the house was demolished, according to the sheriff’s office, following a significant search for a missing youngster and his mother. Deputies, K-9 teams, firefighters, and volunteers were still sifting through the rubble on Wednesday morning looking for the mother.
Even though there was a second death, the sheriff’s office has not been able to positively identify the person who died.
