Whitney Wolf Herd, Founder of Bumble
One of Whitney Wolfe Herd’s strongest skills seems to be her social awareness. She founded her own company at the age of 20 while still a college student and selling bamboo tote bags to support regions impacted by the significant BP oil spill of 2010. In addition to serving as Tinder’s marketing manager, Wolfe Herd is credited for coming up with the app’s moniker. In 2014, Wolfe Herd quit Tinder and started her dating service to give women more power. So, she founded the dating app, Bumble. It had around 22 million registered users by 2017. Leena Nair, CEO of Chanel
Nair, a management gold medalist from XLRI in Jamshedpur and a graduate in electronic engineering from Sangli’s Walchand College of Engineering, took the helm of Chanel in January 2022. Before joining Chanel, Leena Nair worked as the Chief Human Resource Executive for Unilever PLC, a prominent British packaged food and consumer goods company. She was the first-ever female, Asian, and youngest Chief Human Resource Executive there. Nair has consistently advocated for change and has strongly supported equality.
