Dynamic lighting is used for illuminating these sixteen clouds. The grains of thought are another popular artwork at Jewel. This artwork has two large sculptures of rice grains which are suspended in mid-air, to remind people of the rice which is the staple food of many people in Singapore and the rest of Asia. The installations are located in the garden of the south gateway, near the main entrance of Jewel at Changi airport.
Apple training and products
To increase the popularity of the large range of Apple products, Apple is arranging free training for users of Apple products by creative specialists. Persons who do not have their own Apple products, can loan these products to attend the classes. During the classes experts explain how Apple gadgets can be best used for photography and videography. Using the iPhone, iPad or apple laptop, the attendees will learn the best ways to create movies, how to edit films and graphic design techniques. These classes are ideal for those who wish to practice existing techniques or learn better techniques. The free classes are open from 11 am to 10 pm and are free to register and attend.
Pokemon explorer
Additionally the Pokemon company has launched the Pokemon explorer with Changi airport. Visitors can download the Jewel mobile app and join the quest which includes exploring the entire complex to find clues, complete tasks. There are 25 different missions including collecting berries and catching magikarp. Top players winning enough points will be featured in the hall of fame and are eligible for gifts.
