The city of Laguna Niguel has declared that an emergency exists.
According to the officials, a fast-moving wildfire that started in Southern California on Wednesday afternoon has damaged at least 20 residences. The fire is still active.
Residents were able to safely return to their homes after fires that had been blazing for days were finally able to be contained overnight.
