The season of Lucas Torreira may be over as Arsenal has confirmed that he is set with a fractured ankle for up to ten weeks.

The 24-year-old midfielder suffered the injury in the early stages of the Gunners ‘ 2-0 win over Portsmouth in the FA Cup.
He was rolled off the pitch and spotted later leaving the stadium in a leg brace and on crutches and was in the stands for a 1-0 victory over West Ham on Saturday.
Arsenal had been waiting for test results to assess how bad Torreira’s injury is, but announced on Monday that he is on the sidelines for’ eight to ten weeks’
This will take the midfielder to the final week of the season, which ensures he will sit out of their campaign-closing game at the Emirates Stadium against Watford.
