Jadon Sancho joined Chelsea on the transfer deadline day on an initial loan with an obligation to buy next summer for a fee between £25-30million.
Sancho seems revived since joining Chelsea. Despite yet to open his goal-scoring accounts for the North London club, the England international has provided an assist in three consecutive Premier League matches for Chelsea.
Jadon Sancho says he has been surprised by the quality of his teammate Cole Palmer since joining Chelsea. Sancho and Palmer were former teammates at Manchester City Academy.
Cole Palmer scored his sixth Premier League goal of the season after scoring a record-breaking four first-half goals against Brighton on Saturday.

What did Jadon Sancho say about Cole Palmer?
In an interview with Chelsea’s official website after their 4-2 win over Brighton, Sancho said: “It was a very intense game, as you could see from the scoreline.
“We kept working hard, we stuck to the game-plan even when we went behind so early on, and we knew that if we did this then we would get chances in front of goal.
“Then it would just be up to us to take them, which we did – well, Cole did! When you have a player in your team like Cole Palmer, then anything is possible.
“‘I’ve known Cole a long time, since our days together at City. I’ve always watched him and I always thought he would go on to be a great player. He’s showing that now at Chelsea.
“We see what he’s capable of each day in training, we see the quality he has, and honestly, it’s no real surprise to me to see him score four goals.
“In fact, he could have scored five or six goals! I’m sure he will be fuming not to add to his tally but in all seriousness, he’s such a quality player.
“Having a player like Cole alongside you is very good and I’m happy to assist him.”
Sancho made a flying start to life at Chelsea and received a standing ovation from the club fans following his debut at Stamford Bridge.
He continued: “I thought I started off a bit slow [against Brighton] but I feel like I grew into the game,’ he added. ‘I managed to win the penalty, and I got the assist for Cole, so I’m happy to be able to contribute.
“Overall, I was just happy to play at Stamford Bridge for the first time as a Chelsea player. It was a great feeling and I really appreciated the reception I got from the fans.
“It was a great feeling [to get a standing ovation from the fans] and my family and friends were in the crowd for the game, so that made it extra special.
“I’m happy to have been able to assist for goals in recent games, I’m settling in well here and I just want to keep this momentum going and keep being able to assist my teammates. Or even get a first goal, that would be nice!”
