Fauci claims the US has ‘absolutely’ exited the “pandemic period.”

Fauci, on the other hand, recommended people get vaccinated regularly and for longer lengths of time than they had previously anticipated.

The coronavirus pandemic may be nearing an end in the United States, according to one of the country’s best infectious disease experts, who believe the epidemic has been going on for three years.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has served as the spokesperson for the government’s coronavirus response for the past two administrations, stated in an interview on Tuesday that the United States had “absolutely” exited the pandemic stage, but he cautioned that the wider, worldwide pandemic was still in progress.

According to a copy of Dr. Fauci’s conversation with PBS NewsHour host Judy Woodruff, “we are certainly out of the epidemic phase right now in our nation,” according to the transcript.

When Fauci was asked, “How close are we to the conclusion of this pandemic?” he responded in a short amount of time. He referred to it as an “unresolved inquiry” in his statement.
