The unconscious woman was found lying on Seana Green’s kitchen floor by Seana Green.
A worker for the United States Postal Service in Durango, Colorado, saved the life of a woman who was 90 years old after getting concerned about the volume of mail that began to stack up outside without being taken inside.
Seana Green, a mail carrier for nearly 15 years, tries to converse with her clients and often pauses for a short visit while doing the rounds. Nevertheless, Green noticed something odd about one of the neighbors around two weeks ago.
Green was concerned because Marilyn Schmidt, who was 89 then, had a lot of mail stacking up at her home, prompting Green to be concerned.
“She’s out there pretty much at least like three or four times a week, kind of on an every other day thing,” Green said to KOAT.
