National Communication officer for the Opposition National Democratic Congress has indicated that any kind of intimidation by the Akufo-Addo government to coward him into silence will not work.
According to the vibrant communicator for the NDC, the NPP government is clamping down on individuals who are bent on putting the Akufo-Addo led administration on it toes to work for the development of the country.
“Smoms of us became fearless at infancy and no amount of intimidation to coward some of us into silence won’t work”, Sammy Gyamfi indicated on Asempa FM’s Ekosii-Sen poltitcal talk show after he was granted bail.
The NDC stalwart was yesterday picked up by some men from the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police service after his show on UTV’S Adekye Nsroma ended and he was about to board his vehicle. According to sources, Sammy Gyamfi’s arrest was linked to a cyber crime compliant logged against him by the Jubilee House.
In December 2019, the CID invited Mr. Sammy Gyamfi after a report was made against him by the Jubilee House on allegations of forgery and false publication.
So his arrest on Monday was apparently related to the cybercrime case against him by the Presidency.
