A woman from Pico Rivera, California, together with her puppies, was discovered dead close to the San Gabriel River in California.

A woman and her two dogs were killed when they were struck by lightning early on Wednesday morning in Southern California, according to the local authorities.

According to Sergeant Jonathan Branham of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Antonia Mendoza Chavez, who was 52 years old, was found to be the individual who passed away after being struck by lightning.

He asserts that the victim was a Hispanic woman who passed away after being struck by lightning and as a consequence of the injuries she sustained as a result of the incident. She was walking several dogs, but sadly none of them were able to make it.

Gloria Colocho, the woman who rented Mendoza’s room in Pico Rivera, gave an interview to the authorities in which she described the 52-year-old as “hardworking.” She also revealed that Mendoza had a tremendous attachment to his dogs Chubby and Luna. Gloria Colocho rented Mendoza’s room. Mendoza’s room in Pico Rivera was rented by Gloria Colocho, who was Mendoza’s landlord.
