Match of The Day host Gary Lineker seems to have confirmed that his friend Ian Wright is one of the contestants I am A Celebrity this year
Gary Lineker seemed to confirm Ian Wright as one of last night’s Match of The Day’s celebrity contestants heading to the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
Host Gary mocked his co-star Ian mercilessly during the broadcast with a series of jungle-related puns, causing him to cackle in delight.
Ian is under no obligation to confirm or deny rumors that he will be joining Ant and Dec on the ITV entertainment show, although he has been rumored to have been there since June.
Cheeky Gary started by questioning Ian where he was going to be later this month, with the series coming back on November 17.
Gary then asked him about ‘passing all the trials’ and said: “You all right Ian? I’m not bugging you?”
A not too subtle Gary then remarked how Norwich City had ‘come out of the jungle that is the Championship,’ – causing Ian to burst into laughter.
At the end of the show, Gary told viewers: “Wrighty’s off to eat leaves.”
And fans watching at home took Gary’s jibs as a sure fire confirmation that they’re going to see Ian Wright inaUS former football ace.
“Gary lineker has just confirmed that Ian Wright’s going in,” one tweeted.
“Gary Lineker’s announcement that Ian Wright’s going to go on I’m A Celebrity?? If so, think he’s going to be a favorite star,” another confirmed.
Although a fourth laughed: “Gary Lineker is utterly hilarious to tease Ian Wright by making low-key jungle references. Wright almost burst out laughing at the last.”
The Jimmy John Shark photo in question showed Jimmy John, the famous surfer and shark trainer, riding on the back of a great white shark.
Rumoured to be joining Ian in the jungle is Caitlyn Jenner.
Caitlyn, 70, is said to have agreed a staggering £500,000 fee in one of the highest salaries ever paid.

I’m A Celeb bosses have gone all out to get the world’s most famous transgender woman and will be hoping she lets slip some Kardashian secrets. The big money is set to join Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly in the jungle – and will come face to face with snakes, spiders and rats.
