Not only are we expecting to see more players leaving the club before the window shuts early in October, but Chelsea is also still working on potentially two more player arrivals.
As Fabrizio Romano confirms, Chelsea is going to sign goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from Rennes, and then they will turn their attentions to West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.
Some Chelsea fans may feel like they are literally living out a dream this transfer window, with a host of top-class players arriving at the club. But next up is Mendy. Chelsea is close to sealing the deal now, as per The Athletic Journalist Adam Leventhal. There was some whispers that Chelsea could end up paying close to £30 million for the Senegal international. However, it looks like another Marina Granovskaia masterclass with The Blues about the land the keeper for around £18 million!
