Due to a regulation from the Pentagon, unvaccinated cadets are not allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Graduates of the Air Force Academy who refused to get vaccinated against the coronavirus will receive their degrees at the end of this month; however, they will not be commissioned into the military as a result of their refusal.
According to a statement released by the institution, the board of directors of the Academy conducted a “regular evaluation” to determine whether or not to grant Bachelor of Science degrees to three graduating students.

According to the statement released by the Academy, if they choose not to get vaccinated, they will be disqualified from being commissioned into the United States Air Force, and Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall will decide whether or not they are required to “reimburse the United States for tuition fees instead of duty.”
The graduates will be awarded their degrees, but because of this, they will be unable to attend the commencement ceremony that will take place on May 25.
