Joe Biden, the President, has reiterated his position that he believes there should be a ban on the possession of assault weapons.
On Friday, President Biden addressed the media as well as fundraisers for the Democratic Party. He stated that although he is a gun owner, the Second Amendment does not apply to everyone in the same manner.
President Biden has stated that, even though he owns two shotguns, he does not feel that the Second Amendment applies to all types of firearms.
During the event for raising money, Biden told the contributors that he thought it was a bad idea to arm school officials. He referred to the strenuous nature of military training as evidence that “blowing someone’s brains out” is a challenging endeavor to demonstrate his point.
