Tuesday, an armed couple engaged in gunfire with two alleged criminals at a gas station in Houston, injuring one of them.
Fox Houston reported that a woman at the gas station observed two armed males exiting separate vehicles at 7 p.m. on the 8600 block of Fulton Street.
Her spouse, who was inside the store, was called.
According to the report, as the two suspects attempted to commit an armed robbery, the husband and wife, who were also armed, engaged them in gunfire.
One of the perpetrators was struck by gunfire, while the second escaped in a Dodge Charger. Both the husband and wife escaped unharmed.
The suspect was transported to a hospital and was anticipated to survive.
