A man in the Los Angeles area is said to have shot and killed one of two suspect thieves who broke into his home overnight to protect himself and his wife early on Saturday morning, according to the authorities.
A break-in was reported to have occurred in the 20000 block of East Country Hollow Drive in Walnut, which is a community located in the eastern section of Los Angeles County. Deputies from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department arrived at the scene shortly before 4 a.m.
