In response to a question regarding student loan debt forgiveness for Ivy League graduates last year, Biden stated that he did not support the idea.

Two New York Times writers are writing a book about President Biden’s speech in Wisconsin last year, which resulted in an arms race between moderate and progressive Democrats over student loan forgiveness.

After President Biden announced his objection to canceling substantial sums of student loan debt, particularly among those who attended Ivy League universities, the left reacted negatively, according to the recently released book “This Will Not Pass: Trump & Biden and the Battle for America’s Future.”

It wasn’t until February 2021 that President Joe Biden turned down a request from an audience member to forgive at least $50,000 in student loan debt for all Americans.

“I will not allow it to happen,” said Joe Biden in response. It is entirely up to you whether you will attend a private or public institution.
