According to authorities, the individual passed away as a result of his injuries.
According to The News God, a guy holding a knife walked into the 39th Police District building in Philadelphia and began attacking officers, causing responding officers to use deadly force to subdue the attacker and save themselves and their colleagues.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., after having been shot at least once, the man entered the building and died later that day in a local hospital.
