Authorities say a guy was recorded on video attempting to steal a French bulldog from its owner as the owner walked through the rotating door of an expensive Manhattan office building in broad daylight. The security system of the building recorded the incident.
According to the New York Police Department, the lady and her black dog were strolling along Broadway at Trinity Place in the Financial District at 2:45 p.m. on June 21 when they were followed inside an office building by a stranger. It happened in the Financial District (NYPD). When the lady entered “the same partition of a rotating door,” he allegedly rotated the door around in an attempt to take the dog.
With the use of a police video that showed the man reaching for the dog and beginning to drag it toward him, the dog’s owner was able to convince the man to back away from the animal and get him to leave the dog alone. During the fight, the victim reportedly had his head smacked against the glass door, as reported by the police.
According to the police, the bulldog did not sustain any injuries, and the suspect ran away from the scene without a weapon. The individual had sustained what seemed to be a head injury, so the cops transported him to a hospital in the area for treatment.
