The individuals who were arrested during the event have allegedly all stated that they were acting in self-defense throughout their statements to the police.
Reports indicate that a homeowner in Phoenix, Arizona, opened fire early on Saturday morning on two intruders who had broken into their home and killed both of them with their gunfire.
The authorities arrived at the residence just before 8:00 in the morning, having received numerous calls to 911 before their arrival. Upon arrival, they discovered two people laying on the ground in front of the house, whom they assume to be invaders.
According to Sgt. Philip Krinsky of the Phoenix Police Department, “Witnesses told the police that the shooter was inside the home near to where the males were lying,” and this information was relayed to the officers by the witnesses. It has been confirmed that the officers were able to verify this information.
“The police officers were able to take the males to a car where the paramedics were waiting, and they were able to transport them there safely. It was essential for the officers to be able to communicate with the three persons who resided in the residence to ensure a peaceful arrest of those people, and they were able to do so.
