The Brazilian took to Twitter to praise Chelsea’s right back
In his response to James’ message which thanked Chelsea supporters on Twitter, Vinicius replied: ‘Great game bro. Good luck.’

After the game, former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand remarked on James’ performance, “Reece James was all over Vinicius, one of the most in-form wingers in the world.”
Former Chelsea player Joe Cole also praised Timo Werner for his outstanding display.
“It’s a credit to him and his personality that he can come in and do this,” Cole told BT Sports 2.
“No Chelsea fan will ever begrudge anything because he works his socks off, so he’s well-loved, he’s respected at the club. This is as good as I’ve seen him at times tonight in a Chelsea shirt. He was outstanding.”
