Thiis week has been a great one for Despite’s Family as the son of the business mogul tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Tracy.
Kennedy Osei the son of Dr. Kwame Despite, the business Tycoon, proposed marriage to his girlfriend while the two lovers were in a plane and it set the mood for debate by some radio and Tv stations in the country while on the other side got the attention of Ghanaians.
The traditional marriage came off on Friday 14th February, 2020 with a show of ‘Abreman wedding’ as the flashy cars and expensive traditional clothes of invited persons graced the occasion and my mums famous phrase ‘3ny3 osikani ti p3n ne obremani’ keeps ringing my ears which literally means no matter how rich one is, the lifestyle of a fashionable person is way above that of a rich man and it is no doubt that the class Kennedy Osei displayed at his Traditional wedding will go down the memory lane as one of the most classical and expensive wedding the country has ever witnessed.
Just as we thought it has all ended, the white wedding of Kennedy Osei and Tracy has given Ghanaians something to talk about for the week. The white wedding came off at the Faith Presbyterian Church in Shiashi. And this has set another tone for a debate as the traditional wedding did with host of popular late-evening show, ‘Odo Ahoma So’, Akuma Mama Zimbi, criticising the traditional wedding of Despite’s son. However, she has received her fair share of insults from the public but we wait to see if she will comment on this one to because the white wedding proved beyond all reasonable doubt that money talks in the house of some families.
