According to the materials filed in the case, a disagreement between Wilson and Armstrong, along with another professional cyclist, may have been the impetus behind the murder of Wilson.
Moriah “Mo” Wilson, 25 years old, was a cyclist when she was slain on May 11 by Kaitlin Marie Armstrong, 34 years old. Kaitlin Marie Armstrong is being sought by the US Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.

Armstrong had a warrant out for his arrest since the 17th of May, according to the Austin Police Department (APD). A local citizen of Austin, Texas, aged 34, is being held on suspicion of killing Wilson, who was in town for a cycling race at the time of her death. The incident is believed to have taken place when Wilson was in town.
