Aggie and Paul Murdaugh were both shot and killed on June 7, 2021, but their deaths remain unsolved to this day. The double homicide that took place that day has not been resolved.
Since Alex Murdaugh’s wife and youngest son were killed in unexplained circumstances on the first anniversary of the killings, no arrests have been made in one of South Carolina’s most high-profile unsolved murder investigations. Maggie was Murdaugh’s college sweetheart, and Paul was his youngest son.
“A member of the police force and an ambulance are required immediately! My wife and my child have been the target of gunfire.” Alex Murdaugh screams at the operator while he is on the phone with 911 in an attempt to get aid as quickly as possible. “It’s gotten to the point where I can’t take it anymore; it’s terrible.”
