A girl who was 14 years old and had been missing from her home in Arkansas since the beginning of the previous month was found to have been taken by a man from Kansas.
On Wednesday, shortly after midnight, the White County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas contacted the Wichita Police Department in Kansas to report that the girl who had been missing since the beginning of November had been seen with a man at a convenience store in Wichita and that she was later seen leaving with him in a vehicle. This information was passed along by the White County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas to the Wichita Police Department in Kansas.
Officials were able to determine that the man was David Roark, age 35, who also had two warrants out for his arrest from the state of Kentucky.
