ESPN sources report that Tottenham is approaching an agreement to sign Wolfsburg defender Mickey van de Ven for a fee of £30 million ($32.8 million).
Ange Postecoglou, the new Spurs manager, has identified the 22-year-old as a prominent candidate to help strengthen a Spurs defense that conceded 63 Premier League goals last season.
