The man was reportedly held captive for several hours inside the medical facility before the police in Los Angeles were able to apprehend him.
On Friday a doctor and two nurses were injured when they were stabbed at a hospital in Los Angeles. The injured party was also a patient. According to the authorities on Friday night, the suspect was taken into custody after allegedly holding himself a prisoner in a room for a long amount of time before being arrested.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were reportedly dispatched to the Encino Hospital Medical Center at approximately 3:50 p.m. after receiving a report that two members of the medical staff had been stabbed, as stated by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

As soon as the cops arrived, they promptly began to evacuate the hospital as soon as they assessed the situation. Three patients were found with unknown injuries, and according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, they were rushed to a local trauma clinic, where they are currently classified as being in critical but stable condition.

After some time had passed, news started coming in from the hospital where they are currently being treated indicating that they had started to show signs of improvement in their situations.
