A student at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas named Khloie Torres recounts what she witnessed taking place in one of the classrooms during the school shooting.
A devastating day for the people of Uvalde, Texas, was the day that a student who survived the shooting at Robb Elementary School spoke to The News God about the terrifying Tuesday. The student was able to describe what happened.
“I was so terrified that I was shaking… I was terrified whenever I was put in a position where I had to question myself, “What are my last words going to be?” “Khloie Torres, who is 10 years old, shared her thoughts and feelings.
She made this claim in an interview she gave to The News God, in which she claimed that the terrible shooting began after she and other students returned from playtime and her teacher, Irma Garcia, proceeded to watch a movie after she had finished doing so. Her statement was made about the events that transpired at that time. “She informed us that the building would be placed on lockdown for a short period beginning immediately. When we were told to stand up and turn off the television, my traveling companion and I immediately got to our feet and did so. We were able to hear gunshots as soon as she left the classroom to go outside, collect the key, and lock the door from the outside of the classroom.”

According to Torres, the assailant pounced on the teacher’s attempt to shut the door and then used that distraction to enter the classroom after she had already locked it.
“She intervened to keep us safe. On the other hand, my good friend Amory was borrowing her friend’s phone to make a call to the police. When she did that, he roared at her, saying, “You’ll die!”
She stated that her instructor was pleading with the perpetrator as she covered her from harm as the teacher stood guard over the other kids. She also stated that the perpetrator was pleading with her. Nevertheless, despite the pleads, the person holding the pistol was able to flee the scene.
“This assailant was responsible for the deaths of my friend as well as two of my instructors. After he finished saying his goodbyes, he immediately started shooting everyone.”
Khloie reported that he went around the classroom firing his gun at whomever he could grab. After that, he went over to talk to her.
“Whenever he fired his gun in her direction, she cried, “I was shot!” In addition to that, I was terrified that he might approach me and shoot me if I made a sound. Therefore, I refrained from speaking up. He then went back and shot her a second time, but it was to no avail.”
