David DePape will get his second chance to argue his position in front of a court on Wednesday, November 15, at 11:30 a.m. local time in San Francisco, one week before the start of his federal trial on November 13.
On November 9, a federal grand jury indicted DePape, 42, for allegedly breaking into the San Francisco home of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband and stabbing him with a knife. According to the allegations, DePape was armed with a knife during the incident.
According to documents filed with the court, on October 28, DePape reportedly stormed into the house of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, assaulted Paul Pelosi, and threatened to take Pelosi hostage because he was “sick of the insane f—ing level of lies coming out of Washington, D.C.”
