Your skin goes through a lot every day, and so many things can contribute to dimming that gorgeous glow. While maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle will certainly help to keep your skin looking good, there are other more specific steps to keep in mind to make sure your skin is at its best. Below is the simplest and most effective skincare routine you can follow for a radiant glow that keeps you looking young and fresh.

Cleanse Everyday

Washing regularly is a must for basic hygiene, but cleansing your skin every day will help it stay in good condition. This is why it’s important to cleanse your skin both morning and night to keep it fresh and to stop your pores from getting clogged.

Exfoliate

You don’t necessarily have to do this every day, but every other day is a good idea. Moisturize Everyday

After exfoliation and cleansing, you should always apply moisturizer, especially if you have used warm/hot water. You might also notice when you get out of the shower that your skin feels itchy as it has dried out from the heat. Applying toner before moisturizer is also a good idea as this can help to tighten your skin for an improved appearance, as well as getting rid of any remaining dirt or grime that was missed in cleansing.

Even when the sun doesn’t feel that hot, such as on an autumn day, it doesn’t mean those UV rays aren’t just as dangerous.
