In recent months, there has been an uptick in shoplifting in the state of California.
During the afternoon on Wednesday, a video was uploaded to social media that showed a Beverly Hills police officer tackling a person who is suspected of stealing and trying to run away from investigators.
A police officer on a motorcycle gives chase to a suspect who is trying to avoid him while carrying a large pink bag on Rodeo Drive. The officer eventually dismounts his bike and runs after the suspect.
It doesn’t take long for the officers to catch up to him, and once they do, they immediately yank him down to the ground and place their hands on the back of his neck.
