This weekend’s annual conference of the National Rifle Association has been canceled by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who will instead participate in the convention via video and spend time in Uvalde, Texas, where a school shooting earlier this year resulted in the deaths of 21 people.
At the NRA Conference, Governor Abbott will be delivering his remarks in the form of a pre-recorded video, as stated by Mark Miner, the campaign manager for Abbott. “He is heading to Uvalde today,” we were told.
