The student years are an important period in everyone’s life. It is a time of pleasant impressions, new meetings, and joyful events. However, you should not forget that studying at university is a load that can harm your health. That is why it is so important for a student to plan his daily routine rationally.

There are many good reasons to plan your day

The main reasons for planning a daily routine are:

1 – Discipline. If one aspires to excel in the future, a skill such as a self-discipline is essential. Discipline allows for a rational allocation of time during the day so that the student can have time to accomplish all the things planned for that day.

2 – Workflow Optimization. When a person has a plan made for the day, it is much easier for him to start some work, because he knows how much time he can allocate to it. As a result, a person does not have a physical and emotional overload.

3 – Reduced stress levels. Every day people have to face stressful situations which negatively influence their emotional state and the work process. When a person performs actions according to a predetermined list, it allows minimizing the occurrence of stressful situations.

4 – Development of punctuality. Planning each day allows you to distribute your time rationally in advance so that you have time to perform all the tasks set for that day in time. Punctuality is an important quality, which has every successful person.

5 – Availability of free time. Many modern young people complain that they do not have enough time for personal life, leisure, hobbies, etc. This lack of time appears only because of the lack of competent planning of the day. Planning increases the productivity of work, reduces the time to perform a task, respectively, frees up free time that can be spent to their benefit.

6 – Achieving high results. Achieving any goal is much easier and faster if you have a clear plan of consistent actions. Daily planning of any person’s day, especially a student, plays an important role in life. As soon as planning becomes your everyday habit, such problems as lack of time, emotional and physical overload from the work done, violation of daily routine, lack of good sleep, etc. will immediately disappear from your life.

The student’s daily schedule is the key to successful student life.

If you plan your day well, you will have enough time to attend lectures, study independently, get enough rest, and have free time that you can use at your discretion. Physical activity should become a habit

A typical daily routine for a student:

7:00 – 7:10 – getting up, tidying up the room;

7:10 – 7:20 – morning exercises;

7:20 – 7:30 – morning water procedures;

7:30 – 7:45 – morning meal;

7:45 – 8:00 (8:30) – drive to school. If possible, it is better to give preference to a walk;

8:30 – 13:30 – study;

13:30 – 14:30 – time of rest after study. At this time, it is useful to arrange a short walk, be sure to carry out the meal,

14:30 – 15:00 – free time,

15:00 – 16:30 – self-study of material, preparation for upcoming lectures and seminars,

16:30 – 18:30 – sports,

18:30 – 19:30 – evening meal,

19:30 – 21:00 – preparation of homework,

21:00 – 23:00 – free time. Perhaps meetings with friends, evening walks,

23:00 – bedtime

This is an example of a student’s daily routine. But it is more suitable for first- and second-year students, because the guys in their final years are already starting to work part-time in their specialty. To tell the truth, senior-year students are not focusing on studying anymore.

They’re using McEssay to do their homework. By the way, planning the day is also important, because in addition to studies there is also work, which does not tolerate tardiness and absenteeism. Therefore, if a student from the first year will plan his day, then at an older age he will have time to attend lectures, do all the tasks for independent study, and work part-time in his free time.

The period of passing exams is a difficult and responsible period for any student because in a short period it is necessary to pass several tests and examinations in various disciplines. As a rule, you are given 4 days to prepare for each exam in the institute. It is important to make a daily schedule during these days so that you do not have to study 20 questions the night before the exam. You should get up no later than 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. because otherwise less work will be done.

You should prepare for the exam after a good night’s sleep and breakfast. It is important to take breaks every hour and a half. An hour and a half is a small period in which a person feels more attentive, responsive, and alert. This is due to the action of such a hormone as orexin, which is responsible for such qualities as assiduity, attentiveness, assimilation of information. Any monotonous work after a certain time leads to sleepiness and reduces the level of human performance. Therefore, when preparing for exams, it is important to divide the total amount of preparation time into such time intervals.

If a student is involved in sports, then even during the session it is necessary to continue to go to the gym or a section, because it will allow you to distract yourself and rest from the large amount of information studied during the day. An evening walk will also do you good. On the last day before the exam, it is important to devote yourself to repeating the material.

It is better to read a book, watch a film and meet up with friends, as the information which goes to the brain in the evening is much worse absorbed. Thus, by dividing the material to prepare for the exam over several days, the student can qualitatively and without overexertion prepare for the exam and pass the session successfully. Important: you should not start studying if you do not have a clear plan to prepare for the exam.
