After his service dog allegedly nipped him, a Michigan sheriff’s sergeant was arrested and charged with criminal animal cruelty and euthanasia. He was sentenced to prison.
According to authorities, Jacob Wilkinson was arrested and fired from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office on Monday after a decomposing dog was discovered in a ditch with bullet holes in its skull that had been duct-taped shut.
