When it was revealed that officials waited outside Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas for more than an hour during Tuesday’s shooting rampage, a Republican senator from Texas named John Cornyn stepped out in support of law enforcement.
After a complicated event, pointing the finger at the people who responded to it is “distracting and unfair,” according to Cornyn.
