Saturday was the day when Kelly Dodd turned to Twitter to issue a call to action to school administrators, urging them to “protect the schools.”
A reaction has been directed toward Kelly Dodd, a former cast member of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” in the wake of the school shooting that took place this past weekend in Uvalde, Texas.
Dodd, who is 46 years old, uploaded a picture on Twitter with the following text on it: “After the 9-11 attacks, we did not limit the use of planes. We were successful in preserving the cockpits’ state of safety. Check to see that the schools are secure.”

Twitter users took exception to her comment, which was quickly shared by other users of the platform. An individual commenter wrote: “In your opinion, it is preferable to have schools that look like prisons than to reform gun regulations.” It is highly improbable that young people will experience traumatic effects as a result of being informed consistently that adults have let them down.”
